Multiplayer Game/Facebook Developer (Java)

Join the agile team that owns the back-end infrastructure. You’ll be working along- side product visionaries creating and supporting our multi-player systems, analytics, content, and API development and initiatives. You’ll make an instant and direct impact, delivering new features to customers every week.
*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Write copious amounts of clean code with excellent test coverage on the cloud,
* Develop and maintain extensive features on our multi-player network,
* Proactively optimize for scalability, efficiency and maintenance for all projects,
* Collaborate with AS3/AIR/FLEX/HTML5 guru’s, UX designers and producers to define, refine, prioritize and ship new features,
* Creating feature rich API’s consistently,
* Polishing, optimizing and fixing bugs just as much as creating,
*REQUIREMENTS*
* MUST have experience/know-how of MM networks, especially cloud based
* Must have absolute passion for building large-scale, multi-tiered, high-performance distributed software
* Experience with distributed architectures, database tuning, load balancing, virtualization and other stuff you need to do to scale while improving performance / reliability
* Productive with minimal supervision and strong prioritization instincts. Ability to quickly and adeptly manipulate existing code vs. re-writing while utilizing the ability foresee potential pitfalls in long-term plans
* A strong eye for objective oriented design, code re-usability
* Must love games!
